| At 17th-20th March, 2004 the Danish
Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries, Directorate
of Food, Fisheries and Agri Business, Land Consolidation
Division and the Food and Agriculture Organisation
of the United Nations (FAO) jointly organised the
Land Banking / Land Funds as an Instrument for Improved
Land Management for CEEC and CIS workshop in Tonder,
Denmark. The four day long event, though it was
very efficient and instructive, didn’t prove to
be enough to formulate general guidance and policy
level recommendadtions. The effort shall be continued;
a key, commonly accepted idea was to establish this
portal to host a related discussion forum and a
knowledge pool. |
